AIEEE-2011 EXAMINATION IS GOING TO BE CONDUCTED FOR THE ADMISSION IN TO ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE COURSES IN INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NIT NITs , INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IIT IITs AND OTHER UNIVERSITIES INCLUDING DEEMED UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA.

MODE OF EXAMINATION : :
AIEEE 2011 EXAMINATION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN 2 MODES- OFF LINE EXAMINATION MODE
- ONLINE EXAMINATION MODE
The online examination would be conducted in the cities mentioned in Appendix-VII of information bulletin. The pattern of question paper & time duration of online examination and offline examination would remain the same and the candidates will be informed by various modes about their center, date & time of online examination. Online examination will be conducted for a maximum capacity of 5000 candidates in a city on first-come-first serve basis. The candidates may opt another city if the seats in a particular city are full. Though, the candidates have been asked to submit their choices of examination cities but the Board has right to change the center. The examination fee for the candidates who intend to appear in online examination is as under.
General /OBC RS. 400 + 2% of the examination fee plus service tax as applicable. SC/ST RS. 200 + 2% of the examination fee plus service tax as applicable
IMPORTANT NOTES
Candidates can apply for AIEEE 2011 either on the prescribed Application Form or make application ‘Online’.
For submission of application on prescribed form :
1. Information Bulletin containing Application Form can be had by post from the CBSE or personally from Regional Offices of CBSE, Designated Institutions and the Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank and other Banks specified in Appendix IV.
2. Candidates must follow instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
Candidates must keep a photocopy of the Application Form for use as reference for future correspondence.
Please ensure before mailing the application that:-
o the candidate has signed the Form at two specified places;
o the application bears signature of the Father/Guardian
o the candidate has put left hand thumb impression at the specified place failing which application form will not be accepted and rather rejected.
o recent passport size two photographs taken on or after 1st September, 2010 one pasted in the space marked for it and one duly attested by the Principal/Head of institution where the candidate is studying in class XII/Passed XII or by Gazetted officer.
o candidate appearing for both the courses of BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B. Planning together and candidates opted centre in foreign country have to pay additional payment as per the clause 8.3 of the information broucher.
o the application is dispatched by Registered/Speed Post only.
o the Application Form sent by courier shall not be accepted and rather rejected.
o the Application Form sent/dispatched through the coaching centre will not be accepted and rather rejected.
o the use of address of any coaching centre/coaching institution is strictly prohibited, if any body use the address of any coaching centre/institution his/her application form will be rejected.
3. For "Online" submission of application at aieee website www.aieee.nic.in
Online submission of application may be made by accessing the AIEEE website www.aieee.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling up the Online Form. Candidates are required to take a print of the Online Application after successful submission of data. The print out of the computer generated Application Form/Confirmation Page, complete in all respect as applicable for Offline submission should be sent to the Assistant Secretary(AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, P.S.1-2, Institutional Area, Patparganj, I.P. Extn., Delhi-11 0092 by Speed Post/Registered Post only. Candidates should pay the fee as mentioned. The fee could be remitted in the following ways:
a. By credit card, or
b. Through Demand Draft which should be in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Write your name, address, registration number/application number and paper opted on the back of the Demand Draft.
c. Candidates submitting Application Online are required:
- to retain a photocopy of computer generated confirmation page with registration/application number.
- The candidate can get his/her confirmation page after confirmation of fee by bank or CBSE for that the candidate can check the status of receipt of fee by entering Regn. No., Name & Date of Birth. More information and instructions for filling-in the Online Application Form would be made available on the www.aieee.nic.in from 23.11.2010 to 14.01.2011 (5.00 p.m.)
Candidates must ensure that the Application Form along with original Demand Draft should reach to the Board on or before the last date i.e. 20.01.2011. Even after the successful submission of Online Application within due date, if the Application Form does not reach the Board on or before the last date or without the requisite fee, the Application Form of the candidate will be treated as cancelled. The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the Online Form. On submission of detail, a confirmation page with Registration Number shall be generated. Candidates are required to take print out of confirmation page and paste photograph, put left hand thumb impression and sign in the space earmarked for the purpose and write down the residential address with PIN code.
4. Information regarding receipt of applications in the AIEEE Unit of the CBSE will be put on the website www.aieee.nic.in . The candidates can check the receipt of their Application Number on the website after 45 days of last date for receipt of application form in CBSE office i.e. 20.01.2011. Candidates whose particulars do not appear on the website may write to the Assistant Secretary, AIEEE Unit, and forward a photocopy of the Application Form, the Demand Draft or any other mode of payment and two passport size photographs (as pasted on the Application Form).
5. In case the Admit Card is not received by 6 th April, 2011 the candidates should write/contact the CBSE between 7 th April, 2011 to 20th April, 2011 giving details of the Post Office, date of dispatch, original receipt of postal dispatch, photostat copy of the Application Form, two photographs (as pasted on the Application Form one is duly attested as mentioned in para 2 above), and proof regarding remittance of fee who have submitted application “Online’.
6. Candidate must preserve the Admit Card till the admission process is over. Request for issue of duplicate Admit Card will not be entertained after the examination in any case.

PLANNING ONLY FOR GENERAL AND OBC CATEGORY AND RS. 300/- FOR SCHEDULED CASTE AND SCHEDULED TRIBE CATEGORY. FOR APPEARING B.E/B. TECH AND B. ARCH/B. PLANNING (BOTH) AND OPTED EXAMINATION CENTRE IN FOREIGN COUNTRY HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL FEE.
