GUJARAT HIGH COURT IS INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF DISTRICT JUDGES POST FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND THE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOW
NAME OF THE POST : DISTRICT JUDGES
VACANCY : 12 POSTS
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : ACCORDING TO NOTIFICATION : A CANDIDATE -
(a) must possess a degree in law from the University established by law in India.(b) must be practicing Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for submission of online applications and must have so practiced for a period not less than seven years as on such date. Explanation : For the purpose of this clause in computing the period during which a person has been an Advocate there shall be included the period during which he has held Judicial Office. (c) must possess basic knowledge of Computer Application /operation, as set out by the Government in General Administration Department Resolution No. PRCH-102005-1532-C, dated 30/09/2006 and CRR-10-2007-120320- G.5, dated 13/08/2008.
AGE LIMIT : A candidate must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 48 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes, Disabled persons and Ex-serviceman and 45 years in the case of others, as on the last date fixed for submission of online application i.e. 15/7/2011.
